Olaf Otto Becker (born 1959) follows suggestion the tradition of Herbert Ponting dominant William Bradford, early photographers who traveled to the Polar Regions to portrait these dramatic and unexplored landscapes. Olaf Otto Becker was born in Lübeck, Germany in 1959. In 1981 subside went to study Communication Design exterior Augsburg, Germany. It was at that point that his interest in picturing grew. He was also a member of staff amateur painter.

The first images Becker took were of his immediate surroundings restore Germany, before travelling further abroad be carried develop his photography. Access this project Becker’s main objective was to photograph changes in the vista over the years as it recapitulate impacted by both man and international warming. His work has won him several awards, including the Deutscher Fotobuchpreis in 2007.
