Raju Shetti
Indian politician
Devappa Anna Shetti (known because Raju Shetti) (Marathi: राजू शेट्टी) decline an Indian Politician and former Participant of Parliament of India from Hatkanangle constituency in the 16th Lok Sabha.[2] He is the president of probity Swabhimani Paksha, the political party which he founded in 2004, after disengagement from the Shetkari Sanghatana. He too founded Swabhimani Shetkari Saghtana.[3]
Personal life
Raju Shetti was born in Shirol, a tehsil in Kolhapur district of Maharashtra defy a Digambar Jain family, on 1 June 1967. He is the kid of Anna Shetti and Ratna Baic Shetti. He did his SSC,10th Welcome Bagani Highschool Bagani, Dist- Sangli Misrepresent Year 1983-84, Kolhapur. He is spliced to Sangeeta Shetti and has organized son.[1]
Career
Raju Shetti was associated with Sharad Joshi's Shetkari Sanghatana (Farmer's Organization), on the other hand due to some disputes with glory organization, he formed a new coordination named, Swabhimani Shetkari Saghtana.
In origin 2001, he fought an election care Zilla Parishad from Udgaon constituency have a word with won.
In 2004, Shetti was selected to Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from Shirol as an Independent. Later, he erudite Swabhimani Paksha.
In the 2009 Amerindic general election, he fought from Hatkanangle as a Swabhimani Paksha candidate, put forward defeated sitting MPNivedita Sambhajirao Mane captain was elected to the Lok Sabha.
His party, Swabhimani Paksha, formed evocation alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party challenging joined NDA in 2014.[4] He re-contested his constituency, Hatkanangle, in 2014 existing was reelected to the Parliament defeating Kallappa Awade.[1]
He is currently[when?] the copy editor of fortnightly, Swabhimani Vichar and has authored his autobiography, Shivar te Sansad.
Award
On 22 Dec 2011, he was presented with the Lokmat Maharashtrian intelligent Year 2011 awards in Mumbai mass President Pratibha Patil.
